Features and Advantages:

RT-31392 is a new type of modified silicone material, produced by the polymerisation of modified siloxane grafted with amides. The product requires only a small addition rate and provides a certain degree of flash rust inhibition on various substrates. It is suitable for a wide range of metallic substrates, including iron, cast iron, carbon steel and alloy steel. It exhibits good compatibility with coating systems, does not affect the drying rate of the coating or its adhesion to the substrate, and enhances the coating’s anti-corrosion performance. It is stable during long-term storage and delivers outstanding flash rust protection.

1. The modified amide groups rapidly bind metal ions, forming a passivation film on the metal surface that effectively prevents flash rusting.

Recommended dosage:

It is recommended to add this during the final stage of water-based paint preparation. To address flash rust, the recommended addition rate is 0.1–1 per cent of the total formulation; the standard reference range is 0.3–0.6 per mille.

To inhibit flash rust on welds, cast iron and carbon steel, the recommended addition rate is 1–2

per cent.

25KG or 200KG iron drum.

Keep away from sources of fire and light; store in a dark place.
