F870 is a powder-based thixotropic agent based on specially modified polyamide wax, particularly suitable for medium and low polar solvent systems. When using it, it should be fully dispersed in organic solvents first, and then activated at a certain temperature and within a certain period of time to form a thixotropic paste. This product is applied in solvent-based coating systems, effectively establishing thixotropic viscosity in the system and providing better anti-sagging and anti-falling effects. During storage, there are no adverse conditions such as re-coagulation or particle formation. In addition, it promotes the orientation and coordination of metal pigments (gold powder, silver powder, aluminum powder, etc.).

The polyamide wax paste made from F870 polyamide wax powder is suitable for various industrial and civilian solvent-based paint coatings, such as acrylic resins, unsaturated polyester paints, chlorinated rubber paints, epoxy resin paints, vinyl resin paints, amino resin paints, and other industrial two-component baking paints, etc.

Recommended dosage:

0.5 - 3.0% of the total weight of the system

Usage method:

F870 can be added at any stage of production. The main method is indirect addition, that is, adding after pulping. The F870 polyamide wax powder can be made into wax paste and used after activation.
