Features and Advantages:
F8600 is a specially modified polyamide wax micro-powder primarily used as a thixotropic aid in heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings. It can fully disperse within the coating system, swell upon appropriate heating, and form a robust network structure, effectively establishing thixotropic viscosity. This superior thixotropic property enhances the anti-sagging and anti-settling performance of coatings. F8600 is an additive with excellent recoatability and storage stability.
1. 100% active polyamide wax powder, thus offering high cost performance.
2. No need to preform the gel; it can be directly added to the coating system.
3. It exhibits excellent thixotropy, providing superior anti-settling and anti-sagging effects.
4. The dispersibility is not affected by temperature and can perform well over a wide temperature range.

Application fields:
Widely used in various synthetic resin coatings, especially epoxy coatings, chlorinated rubber coatings, and heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings such as alkyd and polyurethane, with better performance when used in combination with polar solvents.
Recommended dosage:
0.5-2.0% of the total weight of the system
Usage:
It is recommended to join at the beginning stage of the production process. To ensure sufficient time for wetting and activation. It is recommended to use processing equipment with strong shear force (such as sand mills, grinders, or high-speed dispersers). F8600 requires specific processing temperature and processing time to achieve optimal performance. During the pigment grinding stage, the system obtains sufficient shear force, and the system's temperature rise during processing also helps to disperse and activate F8600, achieving optimal performance. The recommended dispersion temperature is 50-70 ℃, and the dispersion effect is also good at low temperatures in polar solvent systems. It is necessary to disperse at higher temperatures in systems with fewer polar solvents. In addition, when the dispersion temperature cannot be increased, adding 1-2% isopropanol can promote the swelling of F8600.
